In this early month of the year, I found a new method of journaling that going viral among journal enthusiast.
It's Called "Commonplace Journal".
The log is that when you find something new for you, or you want to give a review of things that you consider important for you furthermore you wanna share it with others, etc. Or you find an interesting quotes when you read something. Then, you write it down on a notebook by giving a "key" to differ each information. For example, you give a color blue for quotation, purple for review, or any other favorite color you want.
In my pov, it is similar with the way we do "bullet journal". Do you know or ever heard about bullet journal?
In "bullet Journal. we use "bullet" to differ each log we want to input in our Journal. Each person could have their own preferences. For example and comparison, in Commonplace Journal you use yellow Color to as if you an Ide a popped into your mind, in bullet journal, I, doodle a lamp as a symbol of new idea.
My Preferences in using / choose that symbol/doodle is that if I have a new idea, it's like a lamp turning on in my mind. As if u you use yellow color as a representation of a lamp.
Actually, you can use any color or little/simple symbol or draw a doodle as a "key".
It could be based on your belief, personal references. So, for me, commonplace journal is not a new thing. Just a new name. Hehe..
